The dominant feature of this month has obviously been the Longwood fire, which we've already communicated about a little. In the end, the fire came within 3km of our back fence, or one valley away...

Grass, grass and more grass

We are currently in the middle of the main growing season on the farm, when most of the coming year's feed springs up. While pasture is abundant at this time of year, the challenge is to visualise and ration that feed over the coming year, starting now. . .
